Resilience refers to the ability to recover and bounce back, from situations. Why do some individuals exhibit levels of resilience compared to others? How is it that despite facing circumstances they appear equipped to handle them? Here are a few factors that can aid in cultivating resilience;

Adaptability; Overcoming obstacles by learning from mistakes embracing challenges head on and refusing to give up.

Attitude; While constant optimism is not necessary choosing to view the glass half full rather than half empty can make a difference. It's beneficial to steer of thoughts and individuals.

Curiosity; Take a moment to observe your surroundings using all your senses. Embrace a love, for learning as it contributes towards growth and enriches your life experiences.

Generosity; Assisting others can bring a sense of fulfillment and purpose for those who have faced challenges themselves and are inclined to support others going through experiences.

Humor; Laughter has benefits. Can also boost the immune system making it a double win.

Self esteem; It's about respecting oneself and having confidence in ones abilities. How we think affects how we feel, which then influences our behavior and decision making. Striking a balance between self assurance and humility is crucial. Establishing boundaries with others helps maintain our individual identity.

Stress;Stress isn't always negative; it can serve as motivation to confront fears meet deadlines and even enhance performance. How well we manage stress determines how quickly we recover from it.

Support system; Nurturing relationships, with trusted individuals who make us feel safe is invaluable. They can provide support during times while offering a balanced perspective.

Understanding and abiding by values and ethics is important as it allows us to have a conscience by distinguishing between right and wrong. Taking care of our well being, which includes getting sleep eating food and making time, for exercise significantly contributes to our ability to be resilient. It's worth noting that when we exercise our bodies we are also benefiting all of our organs including the brain. So what does it mean to be resilient? Resilience refers to the process and outcome of adapting to challenging life experiences. This involves being mentally and emotionally flexible while adjusting to both internal demands.
